We will integrate the 3 common priorities: Family Security, Educate the Children, and Retirement, put dollar amounts on these requirements and then focus on Transitions: retirement, life after, government benefits and risks. I will leave you with links and references to continue improving your plan and thoughts on Simplicity, adult children, and investing today.
Leader’s Bio: Susie and I have lived in Carlisle for 18 years…by far the longest place of our lives. This workshop will take a quick inventory of a “life in the day” and explore scripture to discover how each of us can have a kingdom heart and mind toward the oh-so ordinary! Your Kingdom Come…With Fasting
Led by Lisa Nelson
Class Description: Fasting. Do Christians in the 21st Century really do this? If so, why? And how? What does Jesus say about fasting? Can everyone fast? What about longer fasts? How should we break a fast? All of these questions, and more, are addressed in this workshop. Bring your questions and your fasting experiences to share.
Leader’s Bio: Lisa Nelson is an Army wife of 28 years with two teenage children. No wonder she fasts and prays! She loves to teach and has recently written a book on fasting titled A Woman's Guide to Fasting.
